Helping you find your way to emotional, relational,
and spiritual wholeness.

Kristen Papke LMSW

kpapkeI have always been fascinated by the power of the human mind, and after my first course in Positive Psychology, I knew that counseling was my calling. I come from a background in school social work, where I have helped hundreds of general and special education students, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, overcome various mental health issues. I have since pursued private practice so that I can dedicate my time to helping people of all ages. I am passionate about helping others uncover and better utilize their innate individual strengths. I tailor my therapeutic approach to an individual’s needs, usually with a focus on faith-based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My areas of interest include: adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, Christian counseling, depression, self-esteem issues, and women’s issues.

In my free time I enjoy Christian yoga, reading, and traveling to new places (when possible). I live in Canton, MI with my husband of five years and my two feline furbabies.
